This program goes behind the scenes of the Houston Zoo, where life-and-death scenarios, medical mysteries and challenges are as diverse as the animal kingdom. More than 4,500 animals call this 55-acre zoo home. The team must rely on skill and instinct to make the best decisions for the animals in their care, many of which are endangered in the wild.
