Cheung Sing-Hei (Kevin Cheng) was sent to prison for murdering his stepfather, the witness of the case turns out to be his cousin brother Tong Lap-Yin (Roger Kwok). Ten years later, Hei was released from prison. At that time, Yin already has a well-established career and a happy family, but Hei is left with nothing at all. Feeling suspicious about the case that took place ten years ago, he is desperate to find out the truth behind his stepfather's death. As Hei is close to digging out the truth, he puts himself where dangers lurk. While investigating the case, he meets reporter Lei Pui-Ka (Yoyo Mung) and he discovers that she is Yin's girlfriend.
