"The Super" depicted the trials and tribulations of a blue-collar Italian-American family in Brooklyn. Richard Castellano starred as patriarch Joe Girelli, a superintendent of a squalid apartment building. Bruno Kirby co-starred as his dimwitted teen-aged son, who assisted with--and often bungled--building maintenance.
