" When it was released in 1975 the film was attacked by women's groups as "woman hating filth" as they may be right but the movie became a midnight cult fave (ala, "Pink Flamingos" or "Rocky Horror Picture Show") and made a lot of people sick back then yet it still does as it's truly one of the most disturbing movies i've ever seen, the movie isn't one to defend and will offend anyone who watches it"
