After a mystery box challenge, Matthew, Joanne, Fiona and Callum were through to the Top 24. Jason, Claud, Tony and Jo were sent home. Kate announced she was leaving MasterChef to be with her family, freeing up another Top 24 spot. The contestants cooked a Neil Perry fish dish in a pressure test and Neil also judged the dishes.
