Wayne Anderson is a 43 year old lounge singer who sings covers of the "evergreens" such as Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdink, and has been trying to break into the music business for over 30 years. Tired of performing on the 'rest-home' circuit, Wayne decides to hire a manager, Orlando, and together the two embark on an 'international' tour of New Zealand. Will he finally be recognized and given the opportunity to record his own album?
