David Evans travels to Venezuela as a drug mule to make some money. He is caught boarding his plane to Amsterdam where his girlfriend Julie is waiting. She is unaware of David's legal troubles. Julie must live on her own until David is released. She is trapped in Amsterdam and David must wait over three years to find out if Julie forgives him for the deception.
