Shown as an introduction to the UK TV network premiere of the uncut version of Sam Peckinpah's controversial film Straw Dogs on Channel 4. Mark Kermode talks to the cast and crew on the making of the now legendary "West Country western". There's an exclusive interview with Dustin Hoffman, who talks about working with the legendary director, while Susan George reveals in detail for the first time the difficulties she had with Peckinpah over the infamous rape scene. Also includes interviews with two local residents who worked as extras on the film, J.M. Hosking and Betty Sincock.
