Sophie decides that she wants to do a paternity test to see who the father of her baby is. Before she gives them the testing kits, she confesses that there is also the possibility that the baby belongs to neither of them as she also slept with Jeff at the same time. Mark asks Dobby to come round on a "golf date" and, when he believes that Jeremy has been proved the father, makes his play and takes her into the bedroom. Meanwhile, Jeremy has asked Elena, a Russian émigré who lives in the flats, round. Then Sophie calls with the news that both of the friends are dreading....she knows who the father is!
