When at the restaurant where Minori works, Y?saku arrives with the model Ami Kawashima who is also his childhood friend. When Y?saku and Ry?ji excuse themselves, Y?saku shows Ry?ji how Ami's true self is a conceited and manipulative person, very different from her being a self-proclaimed "air head". Taiga quickly comes to dislike Ami, and even slaps her in the restaurant. Ami tries to make Taiga think Y?saku hates her now because of how she acted, but Ry?ji assures her that is not the case.
