Measuring the Toys
Ideas for Later
Measure Up - Measure your own toys against a door with small pieces of tape. Draw a picture of your individual toys to place near the relevant marks. Don't forget to measure yourself and the other people in your family too.
Tree Discovery - Go for a walk and discover mature trees. Encourage children to feel the texture of bark, compare leaves and stand against the tree to compare heights. The Botanical Gardens is a good place to discover big trees.
