What you need: Basin Water Soap A washer Colander Towel. What to do: Use the basin as a bath. Put some water in and have fun washing your toys in the bath with soap and the washer. Pour water through the colander onto your toys to give them a shower. Dry your toys with the towel. Think carefully about what clothes you are going to dress them in, daytime or nighttime clothes? 2. MAKE A PICTURE STORY BOX What you need: Collage materials Glue Drawings A small bear Paintings. What to do: You can draw, paint or collage any scene or story onto a piece of paper, e.g. A rainy painting Flowers in the park Cotton wool snow Each piece of artwork is glued/taped onto the four sides of a box. You can have fun making up stories using the pictures and a small bear/toy, or just walk your fingers along as you turn the box. You make a journey or story about the pictures. Each time, you could make up a different story or change the pictures if you like. Ideas for Later MAKE A SPIDER Make an egg-carton spider with eight pipe cleaner legs. Attach a piece of elastic to the top so that you can wiggle the spider about! Sing, “Incy, Wincy Spider” and climb your spider up your arm, the “water spout”. You may wish to make other “mini beasts” – such as ladybirds and butterflies.
