LIVING IN A TREE HOUSE Make up your own story about living in a tree house, or in a cave, and use some toys, or cylinder people to help create it, either in the garden, or if you are indoors, you could use a big cardboard box. Make and Do To make a caterpillar platter you will need: • A rectangle of plain cardboard • 4 green paper plates • Tape • Texta • Dried fruit • Fresh fruit • Fresh salad vegetables • Sheep or other shaped, home made biscuits Using sticky tape attach the four green plates to the piece of cardboard to look like a caterpillar. Draw in the eyes, mouth and antennae using textas. Decorate your caterpillar platter with fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, biscuits and dried fruit. To make a sheep pen you will need: • Some cardboard cylinders, • Drinking straws • Sticky tape Use four cardboard cylinders to form the posts for your sheep pen. Use the straws to join the cardboard cylinders to form the sides. Now you have a sheep pen for a toy lamb, or other toy animal.
