Ideas for Later
· Build your own animal houses for your toys from cardboard boxes: a dog kennel, a cat's basket, a bird's nest, a giraffes house, a mouse house.
· Look in magazines and find as many different kinds of dogs, cats and other pets that you can find. Glue each picture onto a separate piece of paper and thread or staple together to make a pet book.
· Talk about the best way to care for different pets. Where do they sleep? What do they eat? Do you have to wash them? Do they have any special needs?
