Water is an essential part of every living creature's life.
Water is the natural environment for many living things. These are explored throughout the week -the sea, rivers, ponds and lakes. The life they contain and the things we find in these environments.
A variety of water crafts are presented through play and song. Boats, ships, leisure crafts and barges are found. Water as a necessity for plants and growing things is explored.
The use of water for washing and cleaning of ourselves and objects is played out.
Water has certain properties - it can be frozen. On Tuesday we explore the icy environment of Antarctica.
Each day we discover a different water world on the water calendar.
