Every living thing needs water to survive. This week in Play School we touch on some of the ways in which water affects our lives. These include: - Every day use of water in our homes and gardens - Use of water to drink and in cooking - Transformation of water into ice - Water in the environment - Animals and their dependence on water - Water for creative use and enjoyment in painting, swimming, sand and mud play.

Ideas for Later
Wednesday
Make yourself some ice blocks, pour some juice into some ice cube moulds or into a plastic cup and place them in the freezer. Enjoy eating the ice blocks when you're hot.
Make an adventure playground for your toys. Give them a ride in a laundry basket. They could ride over a mountain of cushions and slide down the other side. Take them through the adventure tunnel under the table, which is covered with a blanket. Give your toys a giant swing in the basket.
Go on an outing to a playground in a park, have fun climbing and riding on the equipment.
