Carly, Sam, and Freddie are thrilled when their web show is nominated for a prestigious iWeb Award in the "Best Comedy Web Show" category. The winners in all categories will compete and be chosen at an international performance competition... in Japan! Their main competition includes Kyoko & Yuki, a web show by two Japanese teenagers who befriend Carly, Sam, and Freddie over video chat. Spencer and Freddie's mom, Mrs. Benson, chaperon the iCarly trio on their big trip to the Far East. After a rough ride on a cargo plane, the iCarly gang "lands" in Japan (via parachutes). Kyoko and Yuki turn out to be not-so-friendly when they trick Carly, Sam, and Freddie by stranding them so they'll miss the big event. Mrs. Benson and Spencer eventually track the kids down and try to get them to the iWeb Awards competition before it's too late.
