Flashback: It's been a year since the accident and Takayuki is overwhelmed with grief. Mitsuki, believing the accident her fault, has been taking care of him as best she can. Dedicated to his health and well-being, she reaches out to Takayuki in his darkest hour. Confessing her love, Mitsuki tells him how she has kept her feelings locked away all these years, that she didn't want to betray Haruka.
