Six couples from around the country are still competing for the unique opportunity to go into business with legendary chef and restaurateur, Raymond Blanc. From brothers to husband and wife teams, most have only ever cooked at home before. To test their skills, all couples will have to open and run their own restaurants for the very first time. But each week, the three poorest performers will be selected to go into a daunting elimination challenge. Whichever couple then fares the worst will have their restaurant closed and their dreams shattered. The tense process will continue until the winner is found. In this episode, Raymond tests the couples' management skills by seeing how well they can train their staff in sales technique. To make the task particularly challenging he gives all the restaurants eels. They have to come up with original, appetising eel dishes and then try and sell as many as possible. But many chefs struggle to prepare and cook them and the front of house teams soon find eel is not popular with the British public. In one restaurant things get so out of hand a wedding anniversary is ruined by poor food and service and there is a fiery clash when a contestant struggles to cope with the criticism.
