During a night out at the Hump Bar, Roland opens up to the group about his separation from Joan. Michael is officially appointed the new brigadier general of the post, and Claudia Joy eagerly takes on new responsibilities to support him. Claudia Joy and Michael are not pleased to hear that Amanda has decided to take time off before heading to college. Meanwhile, Roland and Joan's separation affects Joan's work.
