Shane reads the paper at the mansion, wondering why Taylor isn't doing more in her own defense. Stephanie heads to the mansion to plead with Shane to tell the judge what he saw the night that Darla was killed in the hopes that it could help Taylor. Taylor requests immediate sentencing because she doesn't want to put Thorne and Alexandria through further pain. Thorne goes to see her in her cell after talking with Stephanie, and Taylor tells him she really did love him. Brooke and Ridge share a passionate kiss after he shares with her his feelings of guilt over Taylor's alcoholism.
