Storm turns Alex down on her invitation to go to Paris. Storm admits that he still lives at home and has a family to take care of. Storm explains how he is practically the father of his family, due to Stephen leaving years before. Donna notices how happy Katie is spending time with Rocco. Donna admits to herself that she is attracted to Rocco herself, but realises that it's too late in the game to break Katie's heart. Brooke is blown away by Dave's glamourous proposal and accepts. Brooke goes home and shows her family the ring, but Brooke later admits to Beth that she is still unsure on whether she is ready for marriage.
