Bill begs Caroline not to go, but she packs her things. Caroline tells him that she is a grown woman and that he needs to stop treating her as his little girl. Caroline insists that she needs to make her own choices and life experiences. Caroline grabs her things and goes. Ridge decides that he has to see Caroline to try and explain himself again. Bill isn't happy to find Ridge at his door and he informs Ridge that Caroline has moved out and he doesn't know where she is. Ridge realises that things are over between him and Caroline. Eric learns that Caroline has been released from the hospital and he expresses his concerns to Stephanie that Ridge has't called them. Ridge later comes home and tells them all that there isn't going to be a wedding.
