You probably don't have a choice if you're buying from a big system maker. • It does have some shiny new features... Patrick's fave is the intergrated search. Robert loves the eye candy. • Vista Home Basic sucks... don't pay to upgrade to it. • OEM Vista can only work with one motherboard? Let's slash a few Vista OEM edition lies. (And, yup, Robert's right: retail copy of Vista come w/ both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.) • Vista's install is awesome. Pretty much painless. (Unless you've got the rare bits of hardware w/ no driver support...
