When Phil (J.K. Simmons - "Oz"), a mechanic, correctly "diagnoses" Dr. Brown's young patient with meningitis rather than with the flu, the townspeople believe Phil is a seer. Ephram confronts Madison (recurring guest star Sarah Lancaster) about his feelings for her. Amy agrees to seek professional help from Linda (recurring guest star Marcia Cross). But out of desperation, Amy steals Linda's medical notepad to forge a prescription for antidepressants.
