October 17,1983 brought us dear Jill St.John as regular character Deanna Kincaid.She is an ambitious Navy wife and Rear Admiral Thomas Mallorys sister-in-law as mentioned elswhere on this site.She brashly shows up at Mallorts reception for Russian Admiral Yuri Bukharins reception.(Loggia with goofy accent and a bit too ""clichee evil"")Mallory is not happy with Deannas appearance as the Admirals unofficially talk about air incidents that could send atomic weapons at various countries.The two men are unsurprisingly at odds.There is added tragedy for the Warrens as Lt.Cmdr.Jack Warren begins his defense of Lt.Glenn Matthews for supposedly having killed Jeremy Novak in a drunken brawl.The whole case turns ugly as a witness is located that will gladly testify that Matthews fiancee;cerubial Hilary Adams had an affair with the murdered Jeremy.Of course this testimony is bad news.It gives a great motive.The revolving door of writers now welcomed Ronald Cowen and Daniel Lipman in.This did not he
