Welcome to the Kate guide at TV Tome. This drama for Yorkshire Television starred Phyllis Calvert as a widowed mother living in Chelsea with her teenage son. She worked as "Dear Monica" on the agony colum of <em>Heart and Home</em> magazine, sorting out other people's problems in general and those of her editor in particular. There were 39 hour-long episodes between 1970 and 1972.
