Russ panicked at the thought of having an operation. Jake had a fat lip and Becca was worried so Jake spun a lie saying it was over a game, Becca, upset wanted to interfere but Jake advised her to leave it. Russ remained distant from his family and snapped at Nicole. Craig went to see Darlene; he told her that he was glad she was better. Darren was in training for the race so was on a health kick; Max took advantage and gave Darren cheap beans telling him they will give him ‘speed'. Nicole was upset that her family was excluding her. Carrie was still concerned about Russ, so Sam (Liam) covered for him saying it was a college assignment and that nothing is wrong.
