Alison returns from her trip and Charlie tells her about Pam. Beryl arranges for Pam to stay at the boarding house with Fiona after her release from prison. Wayne has another dream about the shooting but this time he sees Alison pulling the trigger. Pam reads the book and finds it hard to believe anyone could be as heartless as Patricia. Nick is unsure if Wayne is telling the truth about Beryl shooting him.
