Watch Frontline online: Episode On Our Watch

The world said "Never Again!" after the Holocaust and yet Cambodia, Srebrenica, and Rwanda would follow. FRONTLINE asks why the genocide in Darfur was allowed to unfold. It has been meticulously chronicled, mapped by satellite, endlessly debated at the UN, and allowed to proceed unabated for four years. It is estimated that more than 200,000 have been killed, 2.5 million driven from their homes, and once again rape has been used as a weapon of war as the Sudanese government has prosecuted a "scorched earth" campaign against rebels and civilians in the Darfur region. As governments failed to act, it fell to private citizens and celebrities to raise awareness of the carnage. FRONTLINE profiles some the activists, including actress Mia Farrow, as she travels through the refugee camps to chronicle the human cost of the world's failure in the face of evil.
