Welcome to the Off to See the Wizard guide at TV Tome. What the Disney anthology series was for NBC, this was ABC's answer. The animated Wizrd of Oz characters (Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, the Wizard & Toto too) had 30 second segments that lead to the intro of the family movie of the week (it was never The Wizard of Oz since CBS had the rights). Twenty-three years later, The Wizard of Oz would finally be a full animated series on that same network (ABC). There is no editor for this show.
