Welcome to the Red and Blue guide at TV Tome. ABC picking up the comedy pilot Red and Blue, about a liberal dad and his conservative father arguing over how best to raise the next generation of their kids and grandkids. Left-right hijinks will presumably ensue. Dan Staley and Rob Long are writing the pilot and will executive produce with Tom Shadyac and Michael Bostick ("8 Simple Rules"). Long and Staley were showrunners on "Cheers" in its final couple season and have since collaborated on "George & Leo," "Pig Sty" and "Men, Women & Dogs."
