Prince Diamond and the rest of the crew are haunting Rini's dreams, which takes place in the future, where she doesn't know the scouts or Sailor Moon. But after Sailor Moon saves Rini from falling in a crevise, she trusts them and helps them. The voice of the Luna Ball, Pu, is really Sailor Pluto, who guards the doorway of Time. She tells the Scouts they must travel through time, to the future, to save Rini.
