Ann and Alan want to feed their dying ""Doom Tree"" with energy from humans who are paying homage to the beautiful Cherry blossoms including Molly and Miss. Haruna. During the atack all the scouts get trapped in trees. Serena loses her transformation when the cardian crushes her broch. Serena disspaears into a void along with Luna. they float in a void, serena nudeish. serena opens her eyes to find herself in the moon palace, in its former glory. Queen serenity tells a little bit on how serena grew up on the moon and then places the silver crystal in serena's burnt out locket and tells her the words to transform. Serena turns into sailor mon, her outfit is pretty much the same except for mayybe brigfhter colors. A mooon scepter flies to her hand and sailor moon eliminates the cardian, freeing her friends.
