These are the dozen artists most known for pushing the envelope to create their own brand of music, punctuated with a brash attitude and bold lifestyle. The countdown looks at the lives and music of Hank Williams, Tanya Tucker, Kris Kristofferson, Hank Williams Jr. and eight more revolutionaries to be revealed on the special.

In a CMT exclusive interview, Wilson, who cites Tucker as a major influence, says, ""Tanya Tucker's the original bad girl of country music. Everybody knows that. She grew up in front of us all.
