Oh, Doctor Beeching! focuses on the small fictional
branch line railway station of Hatley, which is
threatened with closure under the Beeching Axe.
The staff includes a not-too-bright Jack Skinner, the boss; his wife May; their daughter Gloria; Ethel; Vera Plumtree; Harry lambert and many other people. The stories revolve around the staff and their personal love lifes. The show also reunites Jeffrey Holland, Paul Shane and Su Pollard.
