Sweep is feeling lonely, and feels that only 'Derek the Duck' loves him. Matthew asks Derek if he likes Sweep, Derek replies yes. Matthew also asks Derek who does he think is his mother. Derek thinks Sweep is his mother, so Matthew takes Sooty and Sweep down to the local park to the pond to try and find Derek's real mother.
