This was the Berenstain Bears' television debut. Who, after reading The Big Honey Hut in 1962, could have foreseen the Berenstain Bears' brilliant future? It began at Tilson's Bookshop in '74. Mrs. McGregor reads the first three of what would become many Stan and Jan Berenstain books about everyone's favorite bear family. Although the illustrations of The Bike Lesson and The Bears' Picnic are redrawn by WVIZ's resident artist, the warmth and grace remain.
