It was said the fate of Jets running back Blair Thomas was sealed in the final minutes of regulation against the Bears. On a running-out-the-clock play, Thomas hit a wall of ""Da Bears"" and fumbled. Chicago scored the tying TD on the last play of regulation to force the OT. Fourteen minutes later, the Bears finally scored the inevitable winning touchdown for a 19-13 final.
