This would be the Jets' most disappointing loss of the 1979 season. Seattle, en route to its second-straight winning season, victimized New York punter Chuck Ramsey. Once they blocked a punt, and a another time Ramsey mishandled a snap. It may have been New York's last loss of the year, but once again the Jets would not finish above .500 (for the tenth straight ywar).
