Sid's working late, Mike & Sally tease their mother saying he may not be at work,so Jean rings the office & Sid answers.Satisfied Jean goes to visit her Mum while Mike & Sally go to a party. Sid's workmate Charlie tells him Sandra the office girl fancies him. Sandra's leaving & asks Sid if he wants to go out for a drink after work. Sid tells her he wants to go home & freshen up a bit first. When he arrives home Sid has a pang of conscience & rings the bar & tells them to give Sandra the message he can't make it.
