Sid arrives home with his Boss' 250 year old Georgian silver tea set.(He's minding it for the week-end) He shows it off to the family but no one shows any interest in it.
After hearing about a spate of burglaries in the area, Sid is afraid someone may try to steal it.
When Sally, Mike & Jean go out & leave Sid on his own He thinks every noise he hears is the Burglar coming to rob him.
Sid organises a roster so the tea set will be guarded constantly. When Sid & Jean go out to dinner, Mike is left at home with the tea set. The phone rings & Mike's invited to a party. He tells them He can't come because he's looking after a tea set, But he decides to take it with him & goes to the party.
