Mike's 20th birthday is coming up & he'd like to have a party but he's sure Sid will say no. He tells Sid & Jean they don't have to worry about buying him a present he'd just like to have some friends over for a small party. Sid tells him no,he doesn't want his house wrecked by Mike's friends. Jean works on Sid & he relents. He decides to organise the party & show his son's friends that he's 'with it'. Mike & Sally ask their parents if they could have the place to themselves,Sid is dissapointed but agrees & Jean tells them they're going to her fathers place when actually they go out to the glasshouse so Sid can spy on them with his binoculars. Mike & Julie sneak out to the glasshouse for a kiss & cuddle. Julie asks Mike what his parents are like, Mike tells her & Sid hears Mike tell his girlfriend that when dad says no,ask Mum to work on him till he relents.
