Sid's plan for a nice Sunday out with the family goes astray when they get lost, the car has a flat tyre,there's no spare so Sid has to go find a garage. Only trouble is,the garageman is the one Sid almost ran off the road earlier.! After finding another garage & fixing the tyre another problem developes when Joey the family budgie escapes from his cage.! While everyone is looking for him, a policeman comes along & Sid tells him Joey is missing & the policeman calls in the dog squad to look for a boy named Joey. Later,Joey finds his own way back & the family have to leave in a hurry before the policeman comes back. When they finally arrive home,they are all annoyed at Sid cause the car ran out of petrol & they had to push it. Jean tells Sid, next Sunday have a lie in.!
