Sid's saturday morning 'lie-in' is disturbed by Mike's hunger strike for charity, Sally's new boyfriend & Jean's diet. Sid sits down to breakfast & Mike says he's donating the money his breakfast would have cost to his charity. Jean thinks this will help with her diet & raise money for Mike's charity, so she goes without breakfast & donates the money it would have cost to Mike. Sally thinks this is a good idea too, but Sid needs some convincing. The whole family decide to go without food for the weekend & donate the money to Mike's charity. After 'breakfast' Sid goes next door to see Trevor & he offers him a sandwich. Jean catches Sid with the sandwich & he says he was making it for Trevor. Later that night, Sid can't sleep. He goes down stairs & cuts himself a slice of cake. He hears a noise & goes outside to eat it, where he bumps into Mike who is also eating 'on the sly.' Before he can take a bite, Jean catches them & takes the cake away. Sid decides to set the clock
