Sid's day of rest is off to a bad start. Mike is working on his latest sculpture ""Frontal nude protesting"" & has taken the plug out of Sid's bathroom sink & incorporated it into his sculpture. Sid blocked the 'plug hole' with paper & now the paper has gone down the drain & blocked the pipe.
New neighbours have moved in next door & Tom knocks on the door & tells Sid their are sparks coming from his garage. Sid thinks Mike has set the garage alight again with his welding.! Not this time. Sid helps Tom look for the water main tap & comes back in an hour later saying he's invited Tom & wife Norma in for a cup of coffee. Jean is furious with Sid, the place is a mess after Sid & his friends party last night. Sid offers to help clean up,but makes things worse by sweeping rubbish under the mat,hiding food scraps behind the couch cushions & filling the teapot with cigarette butts.
