Leanne accompanies Jamie on his visit to his mums. Liz confides in Deirdre about her visit to see Jim in prison. It seems that Jim attacked one of his fellow cell mates and therefore his sentence has been increased. Ken reveals that Mel's real name is Lionel Hipkis. The rest of the book club are shocked when Ken tells them that Mel (Lionel) has conned money out of other book clubs by using the same excuse (he needs funds for the publishing of his book).
