It was New Year's Eve and Ryan persuaded Sian to stay at home and spend the evening with him rather than Sophie.
Sian agreed and told Sophie that she was going to a family dinner party and wouldn't be able to meet her.
At the Rovers, Liz, Michelle and Becky prepared for a busy evening but it was clear that Becky was worried about something. What did she have on her mind?
Elsewhere, Steve told Claire that his resolution for 2010 was to have a baby with Becky. Claire however looked slightly alarmed at this news and told a shocked Steve that Becky didn't want any children.
Meanwhile, a furious Kevin warned Molly to stay away from him so that he could look at his wife and children. Molly couldn't believe how venomous Kev was being - are they over for good?
Back at Michelle's flat Ryan and Sian took advantage of having the house to themselves and went to bed together. Their romantic evening was short-lived however when Michelle and Sophie arrived at the flat and caught them in their underwear.
"Interesting dinner party Sian." Sophie said as she realised that her best friend had broken her chastity vow.
Finally, Steve confronted Becky about whether she wanted children. Becky confirmed that she didn't want to start a family and brushed off Steve's concerns. Steve wasn't happy however and they spent the evening barely speaking.
