In this international case of extortion, murder, and stolen identities, a Canadian financier assumed the name of a co-worker as part of a money-laundering scheme. Later, in 1996 off the coast of England, the man turned up dead in the ocean with an anchor tied around his torso. The only clues to his real identity were a Rolex watch and a maple leaf tattoo. Once the police believed that they had discovered the man's identity, they were led to a friend of his to ask about the victim's disappearance, only to find that someone else had assumed the identity of the dead man. No clue proved more helpful in cracking the case than the 10-lb. anchor to which he was attached. Watch Forensic Files to get the answer.
