During a McClain gathering, Eddie is insulted by Shauni's father Robert. He doesn't approve of his daughter's choice of a boyfriend. Eddie ends up leaving upset. When Eddie returns for Shauni's sister Kim's engagement party, he guns down a man named Brown Goodman who bothers Shauni. Robert gets upset and asks Eddie to leave and take his present with him.
When Eddie goes to the pool to get it, he spots Kim in the pool with her hand trapped in the pump. Her engagement ring is lying there. Eddie rescues her but Robert still doesn't want Shauni to have Eddie as her boyfriend. Shauni decides to move out of the house and onto the houseboat with Eddie.
Meanwhile, Harvey is playing poker on a yacht far out at sea. When Mitch arrives to bring him back to Baywatch for his shift, Harvey convinces Mitch to lend him his Rolex. Mitch hesitates but gives in. When Harvey has won $ 32 000, a man in a mask comes in and robs the place. He disappears in an amphibious vehicle.
